We are a 4 acre Ranch in Southern California, soon to relocate to 40 acres in Southern Utah. I have been in the dog buisness since I was 11 yrs old. I bought my first 2 dogs with babysitting and paper route money. One was a Doberman, the other an Irish Setter who produced 13 puppies. I slept in the garage with them at night,and attended High School Classes during the day, until they were all sold.
On from there, at the age of 14, I worked at a Kennel for Show Collies/Shelties that also did dog and cat boarding, as well as a Local Vets Office for school credit. After the class was done, I stayed on and helped manage the Collie Kennel for 7 more yrs. I purchased my own Collies/Shelties, and started to show in Conformation and Obedience. (of course my Favorite color is Blue in all breeds including Collies!)
My dogs have always gone on Vacation with me even half way across the US!!!!
I have managed a Pet Store, helped put together the Livestock Dept. at a Petsmart,had a pet sitting buisness, been borrowed by many kennels to help Kennel sit, bottle raised pups for Show Kennels, and have raised many a litter of my own. At the age of 14 my father bought our first horse, a Mustang that my Dad, Sister and I had to share. I decided to sell my Off Road Motorcycle and bought my own horse, a little buckskin quarter gelding named "Barron".
As I grew up, got married, and had kids, I never gave up my love of animals. I have had practically every kind you could own.
We raised a couple of litters of American Staffordshire Terriers, but soon decided that the cliental of buyers for my babies, was not what I wanted to deal with, and had no puppies for 10 yrs.
Our dogs are part of our family and the couch is their favorite place to be!
Five years ago after all of our old dogs had passed away, I bought my daughter a Toy Rat Terrier for her 10th birthday. Well that started it. Now we have our growing kennel, and compete in many fun classes with our dogs, each and everyone loved to pieces and have a special place in all of our hearts! We (and when I say we I mean all the members of my family) have 2 Toy Rat Terriers (one of which I bred) who do Fly Ball, Lure Cursing on now one is training for Splash Dog. We have a Show/Flyball Lab in training for Splash Dog, and in Training Herding Corgis, as well as a couple of Earth Dog Doxies. We are all about competition and getting out there and doing something with your dogs. I am all about my dogs and the dedication it takes to give them all they need as well as have fun!! They are my life's fun and love.

Our horses came from a special project we took on by gentling animals for the BLM Wild Horse and Burro Program. We have helped make adoptable over 30 head of Wild Horses and Burros for the program, as well as Show Mustangs and Burros, and have a Vender Booth at Mustang Adoptions and Shows thru out California and Nevada. I have taken on the job of starting a Rescue and Registry for a Special Herd of Spanish Mustangs Called the "Carter Reservoir Mustang Herd", to help preserve the rare DNA that the ever dwindling herd has.
